Happy Dwarf is an American alternative rock band led by Erik Saenz (producer, singer, songwriter), formed in Los Angeles, California, with Barron Maxwell (Bass), Adrian Neubauer (drums), and later Tim Peterson (Bass) and Brian Beach (Drums). Born from struggles with personal challenges and self-doubt, the band’s name symbolizes resilience in the face of adversity. Influenced by '90s grunge and 2000s Alt Rock, Happy Dwarf has become a staple of the SoCal music scene, known for their raw, genre-blending sound.

Debuting with "Wake Up You’re Dead", the band tackled themes of mental health, addiction, and rebellion. Over time, the lineup shifted, with the release of the "Writing on Walls EP". Following personal loss and a hiatus, Erik returned to music in 2022, releasing remastered albums to global acclaim.

In 2024, Happy Dwarf returned with "Vacancy", followed by new tracks such as "My Own Way" and "Behind the 99".
